PJ Hyett
Team Principle and Driver
Full-Season

Hyett, American software developer and co-founder of internet hosting service GitHub, first met Gunnar Jeannette through vintage racing. The pairing has come together as friends and co-drivers as Hyett built his sports car racing career, making his professional debut in 2022, creating AO Racing. He made his IMSA WeatherTech debut in 2023, racing in the GTD Class, earning one podium finish. This season, Hyett will compete in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship LMP2 class.

Paul-loup chatin
Full-Season

As Team Principal PJ Hyett moves to the LMP2 class, he will race the Oreca LMP2 07 with 2021 Rolex 24 At Daytona winner and 2023 IMSA WeatherTech champion Paul-Loup Chatin. The 32-year-old Frenchman will race alongside Hyett in the six-race championship, competing in all five endurance races as well as the Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. He has also joined the team for the 2023-2024 season in the Asian Le Mans Series.

Matthew Brabham
North American Endurance Cup

Racing flows deep in the veins of Matthew Brabham, grandson of three-time Formula One champion Jack Brabham, son of four-time IMSA GTP Champion, and nephew of 24 Hours of Le Mans winner and American Le Mans Series champion David Brabham. The third-generation racer has accrued his own list of accomplishments in professional motorsport, securing three Stadium Super Truck titles in addition to two open wheel racing titles. Brabham will make his IMSA WeatherTech debut in the 2024 effort, competing in the five IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup races on the calendar.

Alex Quinn
Rolex 24 At Daytona

After finishing second in the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup in 2023, rising star Alex Quinn will complete AO Racing’s lineup in January’s Rolex 24 At Daytona. Supporting PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports in the four endurance events on the IMSA calendar, Quinn’s support aided in the team’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship title, momentum he’ll bring to AO Racing’s 2024 endeavors.

Sebastian Priaulx
Full-Season

At just 22 years old, Sebastian Priaulx is making a name for himself apart from his father, Andy Priaulx, from whom he also cultivated a love of racing. He started racing in go-karts at age eight, but advanced to cars at age 14. By 2019, he was competing in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, the support series for the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. This season, the 2021 Porsche Carrera Cup North America champion will race the full IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in the GTD Pro class.

Laurin Heinrich
Full-Season

This year, Priaulx will be joined by 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland champion and former Porsche Junior driver Laurin Heinrich as the pair steps up to the GTD Pro class. Also 22 years of age, the young German brings with him strong promise as he steps into his first season in the IMSA WeatherTech championship.

Rolex 24 At Daytona

Danish racing driver Christensen began his Porsche career in 2012 when he joined the Porsche young driver program, the next year becoming an official Porsche factory driver. The 24 Hour of Le Mans winner and FIA World Endurance Championship champion will be a strong addition to the team for the most demanding race of the year, the Rolex 24 At Daytona.

IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship

For our debut season in professional sports car racing, AO Racing is contesting a full season in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, based in North America. One of the most prestigious sports car racing series in the world, the championship features a diverse range of sports cars, including purpose-built prototypes and production-based GT cars from leading manufacturers such as Porsche, Acura, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-AMG, and more.

The championship includes of a series of endurance races held across North America, including iconic events such as the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring, and the Petit Le Mans. The races range in length from two to 24 hours, and each race features a variety of classes, including Daytona Prototype international (DPi), Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2), and GT Daytona Pro (GTD Pro), and GT Daytona (GTD).

The series attracts some of the biggest names in motorsports, including professional drivers from around the world, as well as up-and-coming talents. The championship is known for its close racing, intense competition, and high level of professionalism, making it a fan favorite among sports car racing enthusiasts.
