About the 24 Hours of Le Mans

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the world’s most prestigious and iconic endurance race, held annually in Le Mans, France since 1923. Organized by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), the event challenges teams to compete over a full 24 hours on the 8.5-mile Circuit de la Sarthe—a unique blend of permanent race track and public roads.

Often referred to as the ultimate test of speed, stamina, and teamwork, Le Mans attracts the best manufacturers, drivers, and teams from around the globe. The race features multiple classes of prototypes and GT cars, all battling simultaneously for class and overall victories. With its rich history, legendary moments, and unparalleled atmosphere, the 24 Hours of Le Mans stands as the crown jewel of endurance racing and a defining event on the motorsport calendar.

Entry into the event is extremely competitive, with many spaces being automatically reserved as invite-only for series champions or noteworthy competitors.

AO Racing first raced at Le Mans in the 2023 running of the event, with Rexy, the Porsche 911 RSRawr. Rexy led almost half of the race, never leaving the top five until a mechanical issue took away his chances at a win.

The team returned with Spike the Dragon in 2024, partnering with TF Sport for the iconic event. Spike won Hyperpole and led the way to the green flag, earning a strong second-place finish in his Le Mans debut.

This year’s running of the event will see Spike race again with AO by TF, armed with a strong lineup to take another shot at the ultimate victory in the LMP2 PRO/AM class.
