About the Series

In the 2025 season, AO by TF returns to the European Le Mans Series (ELMS)as champions! The ELMS is an endurance championship that consists of six four-hour races across Europe. Within this series are four classes, all competing at the same time. The top class is LMP2, then LMP2 PRO/AM, LMP3, and LMGT3. The LMP2 (Le Mans Prototype) cars are closed-cockpit prototype race cars, all using the Gibson V8 engine.

While the LMP2 class has a mandatory Silver-rated driver, the PRO/AM class has a mandatory Bronze-rated driver in each entry. The LMP3 class is comprised of entry-level prototypes, which are slower and less complex than the LMP2 machines. The LMGT3 class utilizes GT3-spec machines that are based on road cars but modified for professional racing.

Just like IMSA WeatherTech, all competitors race within their group for the class win and overall position at the same time. Because of this, traffic management becomes a crucial part of the race as competitors constantly manage faster and slower cars outside of their class.

At the end of the season, the winners of each class championship will receive an invite to the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, so every point counts! This June, AO by TF will compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans after winning the 2024 championship. This season, we are competing with Spike the dragon in the LMP2 class, with drivers PJ Hyett, Louis Deletraz, and Dane Cameron. Not only are we fighting for a championship, but for an entry to the most iconic sports car race in the world!

PH HYETT

Hyett, team owner and driver at AO Racing, has proven himself a formidable competitor in sports car racing, earning the most pole positions of any IMSA WeatherTech driver in the 2024 season. He secured his first LMP2 prototype podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans last summer, where he shared the cockpit with returning teammate Delétraz.

LOUIS DELETRAZ

Delétraz returns to the team as the 2024 series champion, adding the recent title to his three other endurance racing LMP2 championship successes. In 2024, he won Hyperpole at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with AO by TF, going on to secure a second-place finish.

DANE CAMERON

Dane Cameron is a seasoned IMSA champion with extensive experience across prototype and GT machinery. The reigning IMSA WeatherTech GTP class champion, the four-time professional sports car racing titleholder also competes alongside Hyett in AO Racing’s full-season IMSA campaign.
