AO by TF Confirms James Allen for 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans Effort

ST. CHARLES, Ill. (May 18, 2026) – Fresh off a class victory in last year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans and a podium finish the year prior, AO Racing and AO by TF have finalized the lineup for the team’s 2026 return to the French endurance classic. Australian driver James Allen will join Dane Cameron and PJ Hyett aboard the No. 99 Oreca LMP2 entry in the LMP2 Pro/Am category, replacing Louis Delétraz, who was originally announced as part of the lineup but has since been pulled away due to conflicting commitments.

A championship winner of the 2023 European Le Mans Series, and holder of back-to-back wins at the 2022 and 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans, Allen brings extensive prototype experience to this year’s Le Mans effort.

“I’m really excited to be joining AO Racing for the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans,” said Allen. “AO have proven to be an exceptional team during their time in LMP2 and the results they have achieved in such a short time in the category speak for themselves. I’m looking forward to working with Dane, PJ and everyone at the team with the goal of repeating their success at Le Mans from last year!”

The team enters this year’s race carrying significant momentum following its breakthrough 2025 victory at Le Mans, where the No. 99 entry captured the LMP2 Pro/Am class win in commanding fashion. That result came one year after AO by TF stood on the podium in its Le Mans debut, quickly establishing the program as one of the category’s premier contenders.

This year’s effort will also mark the Le Mans debut of Rockie, AO Racing’s newest character-led creation. Joining Rexy, Roxy, and Spike in the expanding AO universe, the Mobil 1 Pegasus-inspired design brings a bold new identity to the No. 99 Oreca as the team returns to France to defend its victory on endurance racing’s biggest stage.

The 2026 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place June 13-14 at the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe.
